Jane Hamilton

JANE HAMILTON is probably the only person you’ll ever meet who gave up a well-paid job in a top advertising agency to be a poorly-paid tabloid hack – but the unusual move has given her a unique ‘both-sides-of-the-fence’ insight into how ideas are marketed, disseminated and shared in society. Jane set up The Sun’s website back in 1999 and has worked across online, news and features and consumer magazines. She now specialises in projects that blend native advertising and commercial opportunities with editorial. The mum-of-three has a special interest in working with consumer brands to create engaging news stories – and as the worlds of PR, marketing and journalism converge, she knows exactly how to get your brand talked about.
